  • Girl to boy wearing a cross: "What does the letter T stand for? is your name Trevor?"
  • Boy: "No, it stands for Jesus."
  • Girl (confused): "Jesus doesn't start with a T."
Gypsy
And old Musical from the 1960s (back when musicals were done well), which I really would like to see it on stage. I found out it does have a stage adaptation so I really want it to be put on! especially since Burlesque is in fashion now i recon it would do well.
A musical base on the true story of Burlesque phenonium of Gypsy Rose Lee, Stars Natalie Wood!
It would be nice if there was a little bit more Burlesque but i guess it was based more on her life before burlesque!
Best Musical number: A draw between the scene of Louise’s best friend telling her about how one day he’ll be a big star and his famous routine which he performs to her. And Louise’s First Burlesque act!

30 Days of Night
Actually not a bad film, I thought the interprietation of the vampire was really cool and quite scary. They took a real old school traditional approach of the Vampire being a demon. I also liked how they spoke in a demonic language.
One thing i did dislike was the end… i thought how it got to that ending was a little corny and unnecessary, but still overall good!
Scariest Scene: The woman walking down the street screaming for help and the vampire come out and surround her. This scene is not reallu scary but you more feel scared for the character’s situation for you know it’s not going to end up well.

The Spirit
I’m afraid yet a again another disppointing film. I had such high expectations but this film totally didn’t live up to them.
I think that this film was purely made for the comicbook fans because if you’re a newcomer you’re left quite lost and the film also goes way too quickly so characters aren’t developed and don’t ask about the stories development. It also ends with a sequel in mind but i doubt that it’ll make cinema release for it didn’t do too well in the box office.
it’s a pity because the films artistic style is awesome and the costumes are even better.
I really believe this doesn’t deserve a rating but the style and costumes give it something.
Honourable mention to: Scarlett Johanssonn, for she was the only thing stopping me from stopping the movie and the little white fluffy kitten Muffin! sooo cute!

The Eye
Really was disappointed for apparantly the japanese orginial was really scary, as for this, not a all. Often you would think something scary will happen but nothing will happen.
The ending is really bad as well, it ends with you going ‘WTF i thought this was a horror film not a superhero film?’
scariest scene: elevator scene, although I said this film wasn’t scary, this scene did really freak me out.

Quarantine
Not too bad but at times the camera work is too well filmed for this genre.
Jennifer Carpenter acting is impressive, which really makes you freak out with her character.
Would’ve prefered a different ending, too predictable.
Scariest scene: When the camera is lifted up into the attic to see what is up there… gives you a bit of a jump.

Brad has a bone to pick about Twilight.

Yes that is Michael J. Fox in a film about a teenage boy trying to cope through high school as a werewolf…
Hilariously bad!

My Life isn't Average

I think I need to create a sight similar to MLIA and FML but based on the not so average things that happen in the day, like the weird things I wrote about seeing before going to work. I tried putting those events through to MLIA but the events I experienced weren’t “average” enough.

But then again, this blog could pretty much serve as a tool to share to the world how my life is NOT so average!

unfortunately today my life was pretty average!
